Dr. Chen graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine with a degree in Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina, and completed his residency at Xian Tongji Hospital. He went on to receive a Master degree in Integrative Medicine from Xian Jiaotong University.
Under the tutelage of several well-renowned acupuncturists, Dr. Chen developed an insight on how best to integrate Chinese medicine with contemporary medicine. He later returned to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine to pursue a PhD degree, with a research emphasis on manipulative therapies. He also apprenticed in more than 60 temples across Sichuan and Shanxi provinces to refine his skills in energy medicine.
Currently, Dr. Chen is Director of the China Medical Qigong Association and the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong. He has many years clinical experience in Acupuncture and Tuina, most of those combining contemporary medicine and qigong therapy.
Dr. Chen speaks English and Mandarin.
