Dr. Macavinta received her medical degree from the University of the City of Manila in the Philippines. She finished her postgraduate internship at the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City, and completed pediatric residency training in a government tertiary hospital in the University of the Philippines, Philippine General Hospital.
Dr. Macavinta has worked for several medical facilities in the Philippines, including as a pediatric resident physician at the St. Michael Medical Hospital, a physician and lecturer at LDR Medics, and a pediatrician at the VITUP Renmin Lu International Clinic. Dr. Macavinta holds certifications in Basic life support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is able to diagnose and manage simple and complex cases and provide quality patient care.
Dr. Macavinta is licensed by the Philippine Pediatrics Society Specialty Board and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates in the United States. She is a member of the University of the Philippines Medical Alumni Society, the Las Pinas Medical Society, and the Philippine Pediatrics Society.
Dr. Macavinta speaks English and Tagalog.
