Emergency Medicine Physician

Dr. Veronica Pei received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in Canada in 1996. She later completed a Doctor of Medicine degree from McMaster University in 1999. She went on to obtain a Master of Education in Health Professional Education (MEd) in 2000, and finished her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in International Health Policy and Programs at George Washington University in the United States in 2006.
Dr. Pei completed her residency in emergency medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. Her rich clinical experience includes working as a physician at the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Presbyterian Medical Center, a cruise physician at Holland America Cruise Line, a physician at the Department of Emergency Medicine of the National Navel Medical Center in Bethesda, a fellow of International Emergency Medicine at George Washington University, and as the fellowship director of International Emergency Medicine and assistant professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine of University in the Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Pei is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She is a general member of American College of Emergency Physicians, a member of the International Emergency Medicine Chapter American College of Emergency Physicians, a general member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, and a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
