Dr. Myers received his bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, in 1997. In 2002, he received his medical degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA. Later he obtained a MPH from University of California, Berkeley, CA in 2004.
Dr. Myers completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Boston/ Harvard University and Boston Medical Center/Boston University from 2002 to 2006. He also completed a second residency in emergency medicine at Boston Medical Center/Boston University in 2009, where he developed expertise in acute care management of pediatric and adult emergency medicine cases.
Dr. Myers has 14 years of clinical experience. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Myers served as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department and as the Director of Clinical Operations for the Pediatric Emergency Department at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Myers was an Instructor and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics of Boston University.
Dr. Myers is certified by both the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.
