Dr. Shen is highly skilled in cases of pregnancies, including in pregnancy complications like gestational diabetes, Fetal Growth Restriction (FGR), and cases of high-risk pregnancies. She is also experienced in the areas of cervical diseases, uterine fibroids, vaginal infections, and other common gynecological diseases, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of various cervix and tumour-removal surgeries.

Bio:

Dr. Shen has nearly 30 years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, and is the Associate Chief Physician at Shanghai United Family Hospital. She previously worked in the Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital, specialising in wards for high-risk obstetrics and delivery, oncology, and independently led many gynecological benign and malignant tumour surgeries. Since 2009, Dr. Shen has dedicated herself to working in international hospitals, providing medical services to both local and expat women. In 2017, Dr. Shen joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Shanghai United Family Hospital. She is a big proponent for natural birth, and has extensive experience in pain management during labor.

Dr. Shen graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and received further training in the field of obstetrics and gynecology from Massachusetts General Hospital.
