Dr. Liu has several areas of specialty including  diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries, post-operative orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, as well as post-operative breast rehabilitation. Dr. Liu is skilled in various rehabilitation techniques, dry needle therapy, trigger point injections, and joint cavity injections.

Education Background:

Dr. Liu graduated in 2006 from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy. She then furthered her studies in the United States in 2008 at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where she gained experience in pre and post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation and neurological damage rehabilitation. In 2022, Dr. Liu obtained an EMBA degree from the Aberdeen University Business School  in the UK.

Work Experience:

Dr. Liu has over 20 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare in Shanghai, Dr. Liu served as a Senior Director and Head of Rehabilitation Centers at MicroPort Rehabilitation Group, as well as having clinical work experience at the Training Bureau of the General Administration of Sports of China, Columbia China Healthcare, etc. She is adept  in diagnosing, prescribing rehabilitation plans, and providing treatment for rehabilitation-related diseases. Dr. Liu is also an internationally MPT-certified physiotherapist.
