Dr. Bo  has several areas of specialty including the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, endoscopic ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration/biopsy(EUS-FNA/FNB), the endoscopic therapy of gastrointestinal polyps, early carcinoma, and submucosal tumor.

Education:

Dr. Bo received her medical degree from Second Military Medical University in 2004, and was later awarded a medical Master’s degree in 2007 from Second Military Medical University. In 2015, she received her Doctorate in internal medicine from Second Military Medical University. Dr. Bo completed her residency in internal medicine at Changhai hospital in 2009, where she rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from gastroenteritis ,peptic ulcer, Chron’s disease to pancreatitis.

Background:

Dr. Bo has over 10 years of clinical experience. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Bo served in the Gastroenterology Department of Changhai hospital affiliated to Second Military Medical University. Dr. Bo  specializes in  IBD treatment,  pancreatitis treatment and endoscopy.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bo has published in medical journals, including the Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy, the Chinese Journal of pancreatic disease, and the journal of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Bo has been granted 2 national utility model patents, and also has been involved in  the compilation of the books “Therapeutic endoscopic ultrasonography”, “Endoscopic ultrasonography training course”.
