◆Dr. Jian graduated from the Shanghai Second Medical University (Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) in 1987, obtaining a postgraduate degree

◆In 2008, Dr. Jian went to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) for specialized training in thoracic oncology. Currently, she serves as the Chief Surgeon of Oncology Department at the Shanghai Chest Hospital

◆Dr. Jian has been extensively involved in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases and thoracic oncology, particularly demonstrating profound expertise in the field of lung cancer diagnosis and comprehensive treatment. In recent years, Dr. Jian has focused on cutting-edge research in clinical therapy for lung cancer, accumulating a wealth of first-hand clinical data and unique experience in the treatment of small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. Her related research achievement is at the forefront domestically

◆Since 2000, she pioneered targeted therapy for non-small cell lung cancer in Shanghai, primarily responsible for and involved in several multicenter clinical studies on targeted therapy for lung cancer epidermal growth factor receptor and vascular endothelial growth factor, both domestically and internationally. Her research findings have received high praise during inspections by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA)

Academic Achievement:

◆Dr. Jian has participated in numerous national, Asian, and global multicenter clinical trials. She completed the project on “High-dose chemotherapy for lung cancer with autologous peripheral blood stem cell support” and was recognized as leading in the field. This research has received accolades such as the Outstanding Research Paper Award in Chinese Lung Cancer Research, the Third Prize for the Youth Papers in Shanghai, the Third Prize for Clinical Medical Achievements, and the First Prize for Outstanding Paper at the 2013 Chinese Lung Cancer Conference. Additionally, Dr. Jian has been involved in major research projects such as the national “Eighth Five-Year Plan” task, Shanghai’s “Pulmonary Oncology” and “Mountain Climbing Plan,” and has completed two projects as the principal investigator at the bureau level, currently leading one ongoing bureau-level project

◆Dr. Jian has contributed to the compilation of several professional works, including “Micro-Nodule Lung Cancer,” “Lung Cancer,” “Pulmonary Oncology,” “Chemotherapy and Targeted Therapy for Lung Cancer,” and “100 Questions about Lung Cancer.” She has published over 10 articles in domestic and international core journals, primarily covering topics such as the clinical overview and molecular biology characteristics of early detection of lung cancer, high-dose chemotherapy as a new exploration in lung cancer treatment, and articles related to the application of high-dose chemotherapy with autologous peripheral blood stem cell support in lung cancer

◆As of 2016, Dr. Jian has played a crucial role as a principal investigator in 13 international and domestic Phase III clinical trials, making significant contributions to the innovation and development of lung cancer treatment
