Shanghai United Family Hospital Holds Grand 10th Anniversary Celebration
Shanghai’s World-Class International Hospital Celebrates 10 Years of Heartfelt Care
November 23, 2014 – Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics (“SHU”), the city’s first comprehensive care international-standard hospital, celebrated ten years of providing world-class care to the people of eastern China in a grand ceremony with over 150 people held at the Jing An Shangri-La Hotel in the heart of Shanghai. The event was co-hosted by Roberta Lipson, Founder and Chair of United Family Healthcare (“UFH”), Dr. David Rutstein, Senior VP of Medical Affairs of the United Family Group and Emery Brautigan, General Manager of United Family Healthcare – Shanghai Market Hospitals and Clinics.
The Shanghai United Family Hospital tenth anniversary celebration included many activities which looked back at the hospital’s outstanding record of healthcare excellence since its founding on December 1, 2004 as a pioneering, international standard health system providing comprehensive, integrated healthcare in a uniquely warm, caring, patient service-oriented environment. At the event, all speakers showed deep gratitude for the experienced staff at SHU. A large number of attendees brought photographs, or recited essays as the culmination of the “Share Your Memories of Shanghai United Family Hospital” event launched in August, 2014 in the Shanghai community. With a decorative “United Family blue” backdrop and an extra large birthday cake, attendees joined together to celebrate the 10th birthday of SHU, with many wishing the hospital many more years of success as the area’s leading international health provider.
Looking forward, plans were announced for expansion of United Family services in Shanghai. These plans include two new hospitals in Shanghai one in Pudong and one in Puxi, as well as a large poly-clinic in the Jingan area.
