Color the Life with Love

Stars hang still in the night sky for thousands of years. They look across each other, whispering in a beautiful and meaningful language. Though the mortals don’t understand the words of the stars, they would weep for the sublime starry sky.

Children are the stars falling from the sky, and the miracle of the unknown is reflected in their eyes.

Shanghai United Family Hospital and Tomato Art School will jointly host a charity art exhibition for children starting from November 2017. We have invited the charity partners from the United Family Charitable Fund to join us.

Professional art teachers from Tomato Art School and touchBox will visit the charity house and school for the mentally handicapped to provide art instruction for these special children.

The children’s works will be exhibited and auctioned at the Charity Gala of Shanghai United Family Hospital (Pudong) in early 2018, and the proceeds raised will be donated to the United Family Charitable Fund for the surgery and rehabilitation of orphaned and disabled children.

Your artworks will be welcome at the charity auction. Please send the pictures of your works to ufch_volunteer@126.com by 25th December

Requirements for participation:

o Mounting is unnecessary; picture of the work should be uploaded; author’s name, phone number, age, city and a description of about 150 characters should be attached.

o Themes: Life, children, love, nature, hope, growth, and the like.

o Resolution: 5000M or above/pcs

o Uniform lighting; horizontal and steady shooting

o Dimension: Length of the longest side should not exceed 60cm and thickness should not exceed 10cm

o Light sport is not allowed in the picture

o Deformation is not allowed

Note: We will carry out an expert evaluation upon the uploaded works (26/12/2017-10/01/2018) to select the excellent works. Authors of the selected works will be contacted by the staff of the Fund by January 12, 2018. You will also be invited to the Charity gala in 2018.
