Sihui Qiu

Dr. Qiu specializes in diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases in children. She is expert in behavioral management and comfort treatment for pediatric patients. Dr. Qiu is skilled and experienced in treating dental caries, pulp disease, dental trauma, space management and oral surgery for children.

Education:

Dr. Qiu received her dental bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine in 2013 and Master degree in Pediatric Dentistry.
In 2015, Dr. Qiu completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital where she developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from dental caries, pulp disease, supernumerary teeth and malocclusion.

Background:

Dr. Qiu has more than five years of clinical experience in pediatric dentistry. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Qiu served in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital. She was the sole pedodontist in its pediatric oral surgery clinic and one of the key members who work with general anesthesia team for dental procedures in children.

Dr. Qiu is a member of the special committee of Chinese Pediatric Stomatology Association. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Qiu has also extensively involved in clinical teaching for undergraduates dental students and postgraduate residents. She has also organized many national continuing education courses for dental conventions and annual meetings in China.
