Biography
Yao Qiyuan, MD, Professor of surgery, chief physician, doctoral supervisor, the chief of minimally invasive surgery, weight loss and metabolism surgery, hernia and abdominal wall surgery, director of day surgery center and director of hernia center of Fudan University.
One of the pioneers of weight loss and metabolic surgery in China, has experienced mature experience and unique insights in minimally invasive surgery for metabolic diseases such as obesity and diabetes, hypertension, polycystic ovary syndrome, fatty liver and so on. The laparoscopic gastric bending and fundoplication under laparoscopy is the most effective treatment for obesity with regurgitation.
With thousands of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of periostomy hernia, the international original lap-re-do operation has greatly improved the diagnosis and treatment effect of the indirect hernia, and therefore served as the president of the international alliance of abdominal wall and stomastomy surgery.
