Dr. Ru is an expert in diagnosing and treating infertility issues, gynecological endocrine disorders, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and other minimally-invasive gynecological surgeries, and cases of high-risk pregnancies. He is a big believer of rational, science-led healthcare that is cost-effective and humanised.

Bio:

Dr. Ru has nearly 30 years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He has extensive work experience in the Department of Obstretics and Gynecology, Minimally-Invasive Surgery Center, and the Reproductive Center of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital. He officially joined Shanghai United Family Hospital in 2010. Dr. Ru also previously served as a Clinical Lecturer at the Second Medical University and Ruijin Hospital School of Medicine, winning an award for Outstanding Lecturer and for Top Ten Young Physicians.

After graduating from Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiaotong University), Dr. Ru first worked as a foreign resident at The Bichat-Claude Bernard Hospital in Paris, going on to obtain his AFS Specialist Training Certificate at the University of Paris: René Descartes, and a European University Diploma in Gynecological Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Clermont-Ferrand.
