Jun WANG

Dr. Wang Jun is from China. He graduated from Shanghai Medical University, and then completed his further studies and training in Huashan Hospital, where he later worked in the Pancreatic Cancer Centre. He came to Shanghai United Family Hospital in 2005 as a member of its founding team.

Dr. Wang is an attending surgeon with nearly 20 years of clinical experience, specialising in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the abdomen, thyroid, breast, hernia, haemorrhoids and other soft tissues. Dr. Wang specialises in laparoscopic appendectomy, cholecystectomy, umbilical or inguinal hernia repair and other minimally invasive surgeries.  He also diagnoses and treats precise positioning and treatment of breast masses, laser treatment of lower extremity varicose veins, various surgeries for haemorrhoids and anal diseases and various surgical emergency abdominal diseases.

He spent 15 years working in United Family and Doctor Wang also has experience in urology, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery and plastic surgery, offering extensive professional expertise in peer programmes, having performed surgeries on diseases in several multidisciplinary areas of medicine using combination therapy, thus has a very deep understanding and rich experience in the fields of thoracic surgery, urology, vascular surgery, plastic surgery and perioperative care on all kinds of patients in order to provide the best professional support.
