United Family Fengshang Clinic is Open

The grand opening ceremony of United Family Fengshang Clinic took place on 10th Jan 2018. Ms. Roberta Lipson, Founder and CEO of United Family Healthcare, and senior management has attended the ceremony, together with over 40 representatives from Chambers of Commerce, international schools, high-end properties and nearby corporate guests. Mr. Sean Stein, Consul General of the United States in Shanghai was also present in support of United Family Healthcare. The ceremony also invited internationally renowned erhu musician, Ms. Ma Xiaohui, who has kindly given a solo performance, sending her best wishes and hopes to the clinic.

Firstly, we arranged the space according to its complexity, except the load bearing walls, other partitions were dismantled and ranked along with space division, which can realize multi-functional medical rooms in limited space, to help our client create all necessary space, including intensive doctor’s offices and service rooms.

“Humanistic Concern” is not a shallow statement to HPP designers, but a process of applying related design into specific space after deep exploration of medical space characteristics. Themed as circles, a series of space divisions form a virtuous closed loop containing entrance hallway, nurse station, doctor’s offices, information desk, chemical lab, pharmacy, where patients can enjoy the feelings of reborn after being ill, taken medical treatment, and finally cured. The space design totally corresponds to the life style of repeating in endless circles.

HPP Architects belongs to international leading architecture office, operates successfully more than 80 years and ranked No.2 of the German architects office. With approx. 350 employees are working in 12 offices worldwide, Shanghai is the biggest one aboard with among 40 employees. The scope of activities comprises architectural design, urban design as well as interior design,etc.

Created as a ‘patient’s clinic’, existing and previous patients were involved in the thought-process and research from the start, to ensure that the wishes and needs of real people were taken into account and can be satisfied with the final achievement.

Fengshang clinic hours of operation are 8:30-18:30 Monday to Friday and 9:00-17:00 Saturdays.
