◆With over three decades of urological experience, Dr. Liu is a skilled specialist in both diagnosis and treatment. He has dedicated over 20 years to mastering laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery with over 10,000 procedures performed with his team. He has dedicated over the last 10 years to Laparoscopic and Da Vinci Robot-Assisted Nephron-Sparing Surgery for Renal Tumors with over 5,000 procedures performed with his team.

◆Dr. Liu is an expert in complex urologic oncology surgery, such as operations for complex renal cell carcinoma, vena cava tumor thrombus, large adrenal tumors, and radical prostatectomy. He is a pioneer in China for having performed the nation’s first original laparoscopic nephron-sparing surgery for a renal tumor. His particular expertise lies in utilizing 3D imaging technology to perform zero-ischemia nephron-sparing surgery.

Working Experience::
◆He has been a frontline clinician in the Department of Urology at Renji Hospital for over 30 years. As a pioneer in minimally invasive techniques, he introduced laparoscopic surgery to the department.

◆His international research experience includes fellowship as a visiting scholar at the University of Padova, Italy (1992-1994) under Professor F.Pagano, mastering clinical and surgical techniques in orthotopic neobladder reconstruction, and pioneering its research and clinical practice in China.
